I am so thrilled I got to watch it online. Internet, on days like this I can forgive you for all your insanity because you let me see my children when they are far away in rooms I’m not allowed in.

The title for her presentation today is ‘Omne temporus ieiunii constitutum est’: a literary analysis of Wulfstan of York’s De ieiunio quattuor temporum.’ Here, she is talking about Ember Days because that’s related to the conference theme, but if you are interested in Wulfstan’s sermons, I can introduce you to her. She is great—super clever and very beautiful and good at explaining things.

Beautiful things like church and worship and church people and flowers and art and joy and some of my people. And the sun is out now. Thinking of people I care about who are finding feeling joyful hard and feeling grateful we have a God who cares about us all and offers to sit with us however we are feeling.
My eldest daughter @isabel.amy is running in the @ My eldest daughter @isabel.amy is running in the @londonmarathon in just over a week supporting @asthmaandlunguk 🏃‍♀️ Every time I think about it I’m just so amazed at how different she is in 2025 from 2023. In 2023 her asthma severely affected her daily life to the extent that studying, walking and often even talking became impossible. Living so far away from her was agonising. After more than a year of a new innovative treatment, she is her full self again. When she runs the London marathon on Sunday 27th April she will be cheered on by an organisation who supports people like her, and will be raising money to help them continue their good work. If you would like to donate, go to her profile and click the link to give. What a difference a drug makes
