Journaling 100 Days To Brave

100 Days To Brave by Annie F. Downs

My two closest friends and I decided to read this devotional book together over the summer as we’d all be separated for large chunks of time, and one of us was leaving the country altogether. We were all doing or thinking of doing one or two new things, we’d all read enough to know we have blind spots and fear spots that could get in the way of being our best selves, we also knew enough about growth mindsets to believe we could move on and up if we tried and had the right team around us, and so we decided to be brave.

Being brave at the start (before the books arrived) looked different to each of us, as I’m sure the day after day being brave part will too.

But this series of (hopefully) one hundred posts will display our progress. (Actually 101 posts because day 1 is next.)

The book is available from wherever you buy or download your books. Every day there is a short reflection to read that will take no more than a few minutes. Of course, we are confident the effects of reading and applying the words will have a much longer lasting effect!

If you would like to join us, just do 🙂 Each day I will post a page like this one for you to post in the comments. Your post can be wordy or a photo or anything you like that shows your journey. I love that you’re reading along with us.

  1. So looking forward to this journey with you and the now larger group this summer. We were made for more. Excited to be courageous alongside other women who are ready to step into the more that He has for us!

  2. I stumbled across you and Jen’s post by accident in the wee hours of the morning here in England and just sort of decided, “why not,” on a whim. I don’t often have much confidence in my ability to finish things. I’m often afraid to begin – or afraid to tell anyone I’ve begun – for fear of failing. So for me beginning is my first courageous step.

    1. Hey Chrissy 🙂 I’m so glad you decided to join us, whim or not. Let’s encourage each other to keep going, and not beat ourselves up if we don’t, but let’s also try really hard to keep going. Making this space and letting you all in is crazy terrifying for me! Love Tifainé

    2. Hey Chrissy, love this, thanks for sharing! I also tend to not share goals or new things I’m attempting for fear of being seen. Not sure where that steams from or why I don’t want to be seen, but perhaps it’s a bit of fear of failure because once it’s out there for others they expect you to meet the goal…if I don’t no one is the wiser if I don’t share it! Here’s to being courageous, open and vulnerable!

      1. Yes exactly. Well we’ve all done it now so we shall see where we end up. 😊

  3. Thank you so much Jen for sharing the link with. I had seen posts earlier on FB and thought it attractive but I didn’t know who to ask to join. Thank You so much. I am so looking forward to what God will do.

    1. Hi Reggie! So glad you could join us! I hope the journey is really meaningful for you X
