Four week Christmas Devotional book
Do you ever get to Christmas day and realise that while all the practical preparations have been done, you haven’t had any time to personally connect with the reason we celebrate?
Filled with scripture and reflections, this book His Purpose Our Privilege takes you right through December to Christmas day in just a few minutes reading a day. Each short devotional reading is sure to be able to fit into the busiest of Christmas schedules and helps take you through the Christmas story in a reflective and personal way.
Many of us know the Christmas story but in our busyness can find it hard to get time to think about it during the Christmas season. This Christmas devotional book breaks it into manageable chunks, providing opportunity for personal reflection and application. The printed version is laid out with winter sketches and has space for doodles and a little journaling.
Each week is based around a theme: Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace and each day includes gentle questions for you to reflect on as you go about your day.

From the back cover of His Purpose Our Privilege
In only a few minutes each day see how the story of Jesus’ birth impacted the first century and still impacts us now
We may know how to ‘do’ Christmas with the schedule, the story and the customs practised so well they’re automatic, but do we sometimes overlook its purpose? Have we heard the story so many times we miss the central significance? Can we obtain a passing grade on a multiple-choice quiz about the Christmas story without letting the message itself inspire us?
There was a very intentional purpose for Jesus’ life on earth.
Now, because of Jesus, we have the privilege of knowing God personally, being forgiven of everything we’ve ever done and living hope-filled lives.
Let Jesus as Saviour infuse your thoughts this Christmas as the scripture and the gentle questions draw you in to think more about the ultimate reason he came to earth.
This 28-day Christmas devotional is divided into four headings (hope, faith, joy and peace) with each building on the message that God is faithful and Jesus reconciles us with him. The reading for each day is short (less than 3 minutes), follows scripture and offers questions to consider about our lives and our faith.
These devotionals are written to be suitable for anyone, whether you are a life-long Christ-follower or are simply interested in the Christmas story.
