Today Annie F. Downs asks us to consider that our calling can have multiple expressions. She talks about how her teaching career and then her speaking/writing career stem from the same skills and passions.

Downs mentions some of the things she was good at and loved: writing and teaching. Extrapolating, I’d say presumably she’s also organised and reliable. I’d assume she likes being around people and has good social skills (otherwise no one would be asking her to help them with a group). Perhaps you can think of other skills she may have.

In the light of so many of us struggling to identify a specific calling, how about making your own list like we made for Downs? Ask God to reveal your calling through your examination of your skills and the things you love.
